I picked this up yesterday locally for a very fair price. What a beautiful weapon that feels so good in the hand. It should pair nicely with my Les Baer TRS. I will be doing a side by side shootout between the two next week. Life is good.

Nice -!  The finish looks to be in excellent condition.  Did you also get the original aluminum grips?  What kinda $ did you get?

This is an early gun with the DE markings on the slide and barrel. I think this is a German made gun that came with the wood grips.

Very nice!  I really like the wood grips with the SS finish.

Hmmm...I'm curious about that but will defer to someone more knowledgeable ...

My (older used, but new to me) 220 Match Stainless Elite is also German, but came with aluminum grips.  I'm not sure what year it was produced without some further research.  It's just that I never saw one come with wood grips.
