I needed to make sure that I had a pistol other than a 9MM in my SHTF gun setup. This way I'm covered on having the major calibers covered should ammo get scarce of 9MM again like last year, So I bought a new Sig Dark Elite 226, And A new Sig Dark Elite 220. These guns are also of good quality and affordable priced so they should make good sidearms.
The 220 is a 45 ACP and the 226 is a 40S&W and 357 Sig with barrel swap.
Pictured also is the 357 Sig barrel to convert the 40S&W over.
I will get the 226 9MM Dark Elite (or a conversion kit) maybe tomorrow or next week. Not pictured I got 5 extra mags per gun, for a total of 7 mags each, more will follow.

Enjoy the gun porn gentleman.

Try putting in a lighter main spring from Wolff Springs for a lighter D/A pull

Hey, just make sure that the .357 SIG barrel actually says .357 on the side. I purchased one from SIG  a coupe of weeks ago and though it was labeled .357 on the package, inside was a .40 barrel. SIG right away paid for it to be returned but they must have had some others mislabeled. It will be another week or so before I get the correct .357 barrel. When I ordered it the service rep said their inventory said they had a couple of dozen in stock. I am guessing a lot of them were mislabeled by someone. Can't stop human errors.

A little trick I learned years ago when shooting double action was to wrap my trigger finger around the trigger so that when you pulled to trigger you're finger tip would come against the trigger guard before the trigger was actually pulled and acted as a brace. Keeps the double action flinch down considerably.
