MecGar is GTG. They are OEM for many pistol manufacturers,
Pro Mag makes their magazines to a price point. You might get some that work rather well, and you might get some that will give you the opportunity to become very good at malfunction drills. |

Yeah go with what RedFalconBill said and get the MecGars. They are OEM for a lot of pistol manufactures and they make really goes mag's. Do not waste your time or money on the Pro Mags as I have tried a lot of different ones for different pistols and they all gave me some kind of trouble.

I have 25 Mec-Gar mags 15s,18s& 20s. All are 100%. Promag sucks.

There are at least 3 Pro-mags in the creek at my local range. After multiple failure to feeds in my P229, I tossed the cheap mags so that I wouldn't be tempted to every use them again. Now I'm back to the normal flawless performance that I expect from my Sig.

MecGar 18 rounders or 18+2 rounders with the +2 extended baseplates are terrific 9mm P226 magazines.

the mags that came with my P320 are MecGar and they are GTG. I also have a MecGar 1911 mag and it's good also.

The mags that came with my P226r are stamped MEC-GAR MADE IN ITALY on one side and SIG SAUER 9mm on the other side. The Sig Sauer is the Sig logo stamp. |
