I live in the great state of machine guns so this info doesn't effect me but saw something I want to know the answer to... Some of these gun "loopholes" are fascinating

I cant find a ton of info on Google but I am curious about this grandfather in of hi cap mags with the Gen1 in Massachusetts. I saw a post on Facebook this morning of a Gen1 17 going to $2600 because it was "Mass complaint" (grandfathered in 17rd mag)

MA allows preban mags, so mags are what, $20-$25?  Is it a pineapple G17?

Those guys who live in socialist states usually pay more for a "normal to us other folks" 17 round pistol. When they intro'd their law,
the existing guns were grandfathered so the guys who had them at the time would still be legal. But, no more after that time.

The grandathered guns/mags (sometimes it's the gun and other times it's the mag capacity-depends which socialist state you live),
have not been made in a while now. However, I think this gun went for that price b/c it's serial number is AK747<-- hence AK47/AK74.

I just bet the guy who bought that G17 has a collection of AK's.

Depends if you're trying to squeeze them or not  I've sold a lot of mags to MA folks for just above new replacement cost.

MA still lives under the 94 AWB's magazine rules so high capacity mags are only legal to LTC-A holders if they were made before the ban.
