Probably send off the 19 and 43 barrels this week.
Still been shooting them, have about 500 through each. I don't want to give up the 43 |

Please add me to the G19 list! I'd love to give it a whirl...
Thanks! |

Dropped the 43 and 19 barrels in an ultrasonic before I left work. Should be clean and ready to ship tomorrow

Is the round count total being kept on these barrels?
It could be interesting to see what the total is after all. |
|
We could take an estimate. But that would take people updating the thread before sending it on.
Still attempting to figure out where the 17 barrel is. We know Mikhail has the 19 and 43, and Canu the 34. |
|
Can I get on the list for the 34 or the 26 if you make it?
I shoot my 26 in PPC Off Duty matches all the time. If the 26 becomes a thing, I'll have a good baseline to compare it to. |

Looking great in the 34's!
Still hoping for an update on the 17 barrel. I'll get the list updated as soon as possible. |

Had a chance to shoot my 34 Threads were perfect, everything cycled good, even as the chamber got ditry from the blowback. While I
Didn't shoot for groups, the armadillo about 30 yards out didn't enjoy life. 10/10, will recommend to Friends |

If you're still taking names, I'd be interested in either the 34 or 19 barrels to test in my gen 4s. Thanks!

Echo the guy above me. If you're still taking names throw me on the list for a G19.
|
|
I'll make sure you're both added when I get back to a computer!
No word on the 17 barrel just yet. |
|

Can I make a suggestion? Can you guys keep track of the amount of rounds you guys put through these? Then when you finish using it, report that to the OP so he can put it next to your name on the list? Would be curious to keep a running tally on how many rounds these things get put on them as they are passed around!

17 barrel hasn't made it to me yet if that narrows down your hunt.

I have received notification that the 17 barrel is on its way to the next tester and is set to arrive Friday!

Mike was gracious enough to let me test out a G34 threaded model in my competition guns. I shoot high volumes in training and was quite eager to see how the Olympic barrels would hold up to hard use.
Upon receipt, I inspected the barrel. The quality of the machining was evident. Clean threads and nicely finished. The model I received was not caliber marked and had the Olympic Cerakote logo marked on the ejection port side. The plain polished finish is very clean, very slick looking. I began function testing by taking a variety of rounds, including reloads and my carry/duty rounds and performing the "plunk test" with an example of each round. The plunk test is when you drop a round into the chamber freely to make sure the rim of the case bottoms out in the chamber like it's supposed to do, and then spin the case aound inside the chamber. The goal is to have the round both drop freely into the chamber and also spin freely in the chamber. Every round I tested passed the plunk and spin test. I was very pleased with this result, because it tells me this barrel has a very generous chamber. A generous chamber is important to me as a competitive shooter because I need my gun to eat everything I feed it. Especially given that the majority of my ammo shot is reloads from range pick-up brass. Reload specs can vary pretty widely due to the nature of range brass; a lot of cases are permanently bulged due to people shooting 9 major. I am a decent reloader, but sometimes my loads won't pass case gauge or plunk and spin in my factory barrel. I found zero rounds that wouldn't pass in the Olympic barrel. Next, I unthreaded the thread protector and intalled the barrel in the slide of my gun. I racked the slide for function testing with no problems. Barrel lockup was tight with only the tiniest bit of vertical play when pressing down on the barrel hood, as is normal with Glocks. I fired several rounds for simple fuction test and performed a mag dump with no isssues. I tested three loads: 1. 125gr Black Bullets International (Hi-Tek coated) over 3.7gr Titegroup at 1.133 OAL 2. 165gr Xtreme Bullets (plated) over 2.7gr Titegoup at 1.15 OAL 3. 147gr Winchester Ranger T factory LE ammo I did several rounds of function and accuracy testing with each load at various distances, from 5-25 yards. I used ten round groups for more significant results. I really wish I had access to a Ransom Rest. The BBI load was markedly more accurate in the Olympic barrel. The Xtreme load was dead even. The Ranger T load was slightly more accurate out of the Olympic barrel. I did take measurements and photos of my groups, but unfortunately as I write this post I do not have access to them. I will hopefully edit the data and pics into this post in the next few days. The only minor issue I experienced was the thread protector backing off often under recoil. After a few strings of adjusting it, I just took it off. It is not a big deal, because I imagine most people are going to have a suppressor on the end of their barrel or will just do like me and take it off and stick it in their pocket until they bag the gun. In conclusion, I am quite impressed by the fit, finish, and function of this barrel. And at the price point, I think it's a tremendous value. The threaded being a good option for suppressor crowd out there or a "Roland Special" build which has become quite popular. The non-threaded being ideal for the shooter or competitor who wants to eke out that last extra bit of mechanical accuracy. |

Sign me up to test drive the 43 threaded version.
Also for the G22 9mm conversion when available. |

Guys these barrels are FLYING out the door. We are working to increase productivity but it won't be for some time. We're a small shop and don't want to grow too fast. So with that said, the lists are getting pretty long. If you want to bypass the list and grab a barrel, contact me and maybe I can help you out a little.

Next batch is arriving tomorrow or Friday. Get those orders in now and we can get them out on Friday or Saturday!
Plenty of 17, 19, 34, 43. All threaded. I also have a demo barrel that was only used as a display for a 19 that we might be letting go with a small discount. |

Have another display barrel for you guys. Again purely display, no rounds through it so I can offer a bit of a discount on it.
If anyone wants it, this one is a threaded model with protector for a Glock 17. Most recent iteration (Current) that has laser engraving as well as caliber. Any interest in it, shoot me an IM! |
|
Surprisingly, the demo/display Glock 17 barrel is still available.
Any update from the current barrel holders? This thread has gotten FAR too quiet. |
