Just picked up a 19 to go along with my 26 ,17, and 34.  Now I'm torn do I carry the 26 or the 19?  I don't have much cash left over for holsters so I'm only going to buy one for now and don't know if I should carry the 26 or the 19?
I shoot them both pritty good,  little better and faster with the 19 so maybe that's the one I should go for?
Thanks for your time

The one you shoot the best and are most comfortable with.
I also have them both and went from carrying the 26 to the 19.

Carry both!

1 is none 2 is 1.

You can get holsters you can carry one or the other in depending on attire.

In bold is the right answer.
I'm sure I will be corrected if I'm wrong, but I think on some open ended type holsters, either pistol should fit.
I have an open ended owb, that will take my 17L, 17, 19, see no reason why a 26 wouldn't fit ?
I don't have a 26 or I would check for you.

My comp-tac M-tac I ordered it for the 9/40/357 slide so they cut the bottom anything from a 26-17L will fit in it.

Good advice thanks. When using one holster for two guns does it matter the 26 is gen 3 and the 19 is gen 4?

I'm gonna go with probably won't matter, as most of em lock in on the trigger guard.

I love carrying my 26 and shoot it well.  I think getting a holster that carries both would be the smart move.  You may sometimes want the smaller footprint.  I know some people say it's nothing to go up to a G19, but I like the rebated frame and smaller slide.  It digs in less when sitting.  And prints less.  For me.

Have you ever accidentally bumped the muzzle and caused it to slide out of the holster? CompTac warns of that but I wasn't sure if it was a legit concern or just a subtle prod to buy multiple holsters by them.

Never been any issue or even thought about it.  I have even carried my G34 in it before in winter.

At one time I had at least one of each Glock 9mm offering

For me the 19 carries just as well as the 26 with five extra rounds, better grip, and longer sight radius.  However this is dependent on your body type.

I sold the 26, and have zero regrets and don't care to own another

YMMV

Carry a G-26 Gen3 (1 in the chamber and 10 rd mag in the gun) and a spare 15rd mag, best of both worlds. I carry it in a Desantis Pocket-tuc (well built, cheap holster with multi-uses) Summer carry remove the belt clip and carry in pocket, in the winter add the belt clip and carry iwb again best of both worlds.

I have a 27 and a 19. Just switched to the 19 the other day. I shoot it better and feel more comfortable with it.

As said before, carry the one you'd trust your life more with.

Is there any retention with that holster? Looks nice.

A dimple that locks on the trigger guard plus pressure from the leather side where it sits against my body.

Cool, thanks. Are those the "P clips" for your belt?

Carry which ever you want. Get an open bottom holster for the 26 and the 19 will fit as well, as has been said already.

I have a 26 and a 19. I'm issued a 22 on duty, and have carried it off duty at times. My holsters will accept all of these. So it just depends on which I want to carry for the day.

Although I must add, I recently got a 43... it's mostly replaced my double stacks for EDC.

Yeah they are amazingly easy to get on and off and great retention.  Idk how many of my friends holsters I have upgraded with them because they hated the clip that it came with.
