so I have been wanting a long slide .40 for range maybe competition and seeing all the police trade in
G35's in great condition have me wanting one. I saw one locally for $399.00 with 3 mags but no box or extra backstraps with night sights.Should I jump on it or do you think they'll get even cheaper? gun looks hardly used little ding on front sight, trigger pull is around 9 pounds I'm guessing? gonna have to take care of that for sure. shot 30 rounds today ran like a top but heavy trigger is definitely affecting my groups.overall very happy $424.00 OTD.

thanks yes it is a Gen 4 I will go tomorrow and lay down the money.
Does anyone know if you can buy the back straps from Glock individually? |

The one I am looking at was not a police trade in although that was what I was originally looking at.
The sights on the G35 I'm looking at are Trijicon's dated 2012 all the PD trade's have the case and extra back straps but is that really worth an extra $135 or more? This pistol is in very good shape. |

Backstrap kits are about 30 bucks on Amazon or you could probably find some unused ones for sale cheaper from individuals. I'd go for it.

I would buy it for sure.
thats a really good deal on a gen 4. backstraps are over rated. I leave mine off to get a better on the gun |

Yes it is. backstraps can be ordered and boxes are optional.

$400 is what I paid for my gen3 35 the week after Sandy Hook. 1 mag.
That's a great deal for a gen4. |

LGS has blue label 35's for $ 520....they had to buy a lot of guns to get new 43's. hope this helps with your benchmark.
At 399 I would spring my wrist whipping out my wallet and I hate the .40 S&W |

I only have a G23 and two M&P's but recoil was never an issue but then again I haven't shot
any factory ammo in years. |
