Never saw that coming. But I'll take it.
The mags at :24 sure look like something other than G17 mags. Maybe it's the angle. |
Street price should be $10-12. I'll be buying a few dozen after the initial frenzy.

Magpul getting into pistol mags is a complete game changer, especially if they start going into the extended 30+rd mag ranges.
wow, I've been waiting on these for a while but I thought they would never come. Call me cheap but glock OEM mags are too expensive.

This. At half the price of factory mags, I'll definitely be testing some out. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I have a few dozen factory mags now, but these mags at this price... I see a few dozen more in my future.
Sold. Now if I can just get someone to ship them to Colorado.
I've got a dozen g17 OEM mags, will be adding probably ten of these!
The last thing in the world I think I need is more G17 mags, however I'm sure I'll end up with a few....
I'm hoping they have a fairly sizable stockpile at release 'cause I can see these selling out pretty fast.
Yeah, at that price point they should sell fairly fast.
Sheesh, i guess i'm buying more Glock 17 mags..... |
Hopefully at some point they'll make a 10-rounder for us folks in CA.

They need to combine their new drum mag design with this. A reliable 60 round Glock mag. Just because.
What's the cost difference between these and the OEM Glock mags? Are the Magpul ones steel lined? Do they have plans for extended capacity magazines? Are they compatible with Gen 1/2/2.5/RTF/3/4?

Next needs to be both sizes and field drab/dark earth color to match the dark earth Glock frames that Glock refuses to make matching magazines for. |
Time to wait for the .40 version. Still no matter what if reliable awesome pricing even at MSRP is still a good deal comparing to OEM pricing.
Awesome to see. I wonder if the aftermarket basepads will work on them.

It would be nice if that competition would help the price of Glock mags drop some, but probably not. I donno...Glock really isn't a fan of getting their sales cut into. I wouldn't doubt it if this drives their mag prices down some to help compete. From what I was told they don't make a ton off of gun sales. I was told that mags are a nice money maker for them. If that's true, I don't think they will stand by and watch their mag sales take a big hit like that. |
Great news! It will be nice to have a quality option to Glock OEM magazines.
19 and 23 mags please. I'm for 10 of each when those show up.
If anything, maybe this will push down Glock factory mag prices.

Sold. Now if I can just get someone to ship them to Colorado. Isn't that illegal? Only if one gets caught. But how would one explain how you ended up with a over capacity mag made after the date of enforcement? That would be the glitch. |
I'm going to buy a few after the internet crazies run them and bust them up some. If all goes well I'll be all over a few. It WOULD be amazing if they could figure a drum or good extended cap ones though... It would push me to play with the Sub2k more and get moving on building one of the Quarter 10 rifles!

View Quote MSRP on these is just over $15, and CDNN is selling OEM new G17 mags for between $18.99 and $19.99 regularly. If street price on these drops to around $10, they'll be an awesome deal. If street price stays at MSRP, it's tougher to call it a deal since it doesn't come with the steel liner than the OEMs come with. |

Scratching my head trying to figure out why? Other then price(which makes sense their costs are less to make mags) I don't see how they can be any more reliable then factory mags.
