Don't forget to loosen and re-tighten the two set-screws.

200 rds down the pipe today and zero issues. Well, except for the sights being WAY off :) Guess it's time to break down and buy the tool.

Definitely.

Anyone else noticing Sig like sight hold with these taller sights? (image 3)

Eta I'm noticing point of impact is low low low and way left when compared to poa/poi of my trijicon hd's on my 23 (image 2)
, but everything appears to be centered as far as the rear sight is concerned. After reading some reviews of the sights, all I come up with is that the poa and poi should be the same with these sights (image 2).

Or maybe I just need to spend more time with it.

Jealous! What are you using to fill the lettering on the slides?

Just Testors enamel paint available most anywhere.  Ace Hardware had what I needed.  On the Dark Earth glocks on other forums I saw a gentleman mention using dark tan so I did the same.  The color is a mismatch with the   Dark Earth Glock.  I was going to add some dark olive to the dark tan to darken it some, or even some black, but the contrast in color looks pretty good.  It's not a colormatch, but neither are the Vickers magazine baseplates to the DE glock frames.

Now I'm on a new mission to colormatch some kydex for a holster to the frame.  I went to Lowe's and got some paint color swatches, matched it perfectly to my Glock and sent it to Knifekits.com.  They called me back and informed me what I had already guessed, it's somewhere between their Coyote brown and their Chocolate brown, with the latter being closer.

Is there a trick to getting the paint in the lines so neatly?  Or do you just have a very steady hand?  Looks great!

Shot mine today for the first time as well and, like you, it was WAY off. I was shooting my 30S, 17 and 22 first and banging the 8" and 4" steel pretty consistently all day at about 15yds.

My Vickers 19? I was hitting the steel hanging target NEXT to (left) the one I was aiming at. Multiple times.

I adjusted my sight picture so that the front post was all the way right in the U notch and lined the target up BESIDE the front dot. That did the trick. But will need adjusted...

Just search youtube for something along the lines of "Color fill Glock".

Just did my mags today.  Did my Daniel Defense AR as well, but just "SAFE" and "FIRE".  No pictures of the DD.

Forgot to fill the BIG STIX...

Picked up one yesterday as my first glock. I've been wanting a FDE gen 4 19 for a long time but lipseys is always out. I really like the RTF feel, it just "sticks" to my hand. I really liked that it came with upgraded sights installed, saved me the hassle of purchasing and installing. Can't wait to shoot tomorrow and compare to my VP9.

Just got my G17 in today.  The slide looks like it's been rolling around in someone's toolbox.  Love the sights tho.
