Just got the Glock 26 Gen 4 back in the mail yesterday.  It's been Duracoated (Patriot Brown Cerakote equivalent ) with a soft sandpaper texture all over the entire frame.  It sticks quite well in the hand.

Looks very grippy, I'd like to be able to hold it.

I just bought a Gen 3 26 locally that had been cerakoted patriot brown.  I like it.  Who did you send the frame to?

Had it done by Rocky Mountain Weaponry.  I am quite pleased with the work that was done on it.

I like that a hell of a lot better than any of the stipple jobs i've seen.  Looks like you could get a nice grip on it.

Oh yeah, looks real nice.

Does the finish seem to be well bonded to the frame?

(I'd be interested to see the prep work they do to the frame before finishing)

interesting alternative to stipple. do particles rub off when you handle it or when you insert into your holster? curious to get your report on the adhesion over time of the anti-skid material...

I like that.
And that shop is easy driving distance for me.
Thanks.

Looks Great !

Have you shot it yet ?

Shot it this past week during Thanksgiving.  It holds great and the particles do not rub off in the hand at all.  If you're looking for some serious gripage look no further in my opinion.

Sand is in the paint?

Will it scratch off easily?

Rubberized sand particles are suspended in the paint itself.  It doesn't appear to scratch off easily, just a strong as a regular DuraCoat.

55 for the Duracoat, 15 for the sand particles, 15 for the matte clear finish, and 15 for shipping, so $100 total.
