A phone light is good for finding your wife's ear ring when it falls to the floor or slowly navigating through unfamiliar terrain, but it is certainly not a substitute for carrying a flashlight. |

Jesus christ not everybody needs to be batman. Phone light is fine for most anything a normal person is likely to run into, just like not having a gun is going to be fine for 99% of us. Till cargo pants are back in we all gotta make sacrifices...

Try it, then say it is enough to positively identify a thread and shot it. No one said you needed a bat belt my ProTac 2L clips on my left pocket and takes up very little room Also in an emergency grabbing the flashlight clip to my pocket and turning it on is way faster then pulling the cell phone out of my pocket, unlocking it, getting to the flashlight app, then turning it on. |

I advise all the ladies at work to carry one in their purse. Many of them work til' after sunset and walk out to their cars in the unlit parking lot. |

He's probably the one that asks the guy WITH a light if he can borrow it when he does need it. I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it. Same with a gun, I carry a small Fenix light, small compact and pretty bright. I want to get a new holster to carry my weapons light on my pistol, but until then if I need to I'll use my little bright light.

I actually had an E1B that was stolen and this is essentially the same light just brighter as its a newer version. The last one was a clicky tailcap. Now that I have the tactical non click version I most certainly prefer it. |
