Looks like they cut that holster entirely to short.

The holster keeps a very firm retention of the pistol, but I see where it could possibly be a problem. |

Beaters are great for IWB carry. Keeps the gun off your skin. Much more comfortable for me.

Personally I find it the most comfortable of all IWB positions I've tried. It doesn't dig into my kidney or hip when I'm sitting like a 4 oclock carry. Its also the most concealable for me, but I'm tall and skinny. I can imagine it not being too comfortable for bigger guys. |

It works great for myself. It's not uncomfortable at all. There have been times where I have forgotten that I was carrying, because it almost went unnoticed until I moved around. Carrying 4 o'clock is extremely uncomfortable, for me, especially while driving. I was involved in an accident over the weekend. A woman was texting and driving, and rear ended me while I was at a complete stop. She was traveling around 45mph when she hit me. It destroyed the back of my car, but I walked away without injury. I was expecting to have bruising from the holster being pulled by the seatbelt, but I had no problems. |

My thoughts exactly. Appendix is horribly uncomfortable and 4 o'clock is flawless. Can barely feel a full size M&P there. Moving, sitting laying down. It's the best for me.

View Quote Different strokes for different folks is something we can agree on. Carrying a G17 with a spare mag is completely comfortable to me, while driving and doing everyday activities. I wear pants that are 1 size larger, to accommodate for the gun and spare mag. Getting my gun out, while wearing a seatbelt, is very easy carrying appendix. The level of comfort is something that is an individual assessment, but as far as if it's dangerous or not... well, that depends on how comfortable you are with firearms. A Glock pointed at my junk isn't going to go bang, unless I pull the trigger. A good holster keeps the trigger from being pressed. |
