Just got a 92FS and need an IWB rig. I had a crossbreed for an M&P and liked it, but am looking for something cheaper.

Comp-tac has less expensive hybrid
Desantis hybrid

My .02 never go cheap because they usually are less comfortable and less quality.  You will end up buying a better one in the end and it will cost you more.

Just because it's expensive doesn't mean that it's the best. What works for 1 doesn't necessarily mean that it will work for all. The op will probably end up buying more than one before he finds out what he's comfortable with.

Got a kholster that works good, a quality belt will go a long ways. Also have an alien gear 2.0 waiting to be tried out so I'll have to report more on that later.

It's a heavy gun...Your going to want to use a quality crossbreed or similar holster. I actually have a crossbreed. Though I don't carry it as I carry Glocks but have wore it around the house & it's feels good.

I carry a full size all steel 1911 in a Comp-tac MTAC. It would probably work for your 92.

My opinion is to never go cheap because you usually get what you pay for.

With that being said, I carried a Beretta 96 Centurion in a  Galco Royal Guard and a Galco CB3 Belt.  I was around 5' 10" and 180 at the time.  I know it is not the cheapest way to go, but it is an option.

Unfortunately I don't think cheap is an option for a good comfortable iwb holster for a full size handgun.

I would recommend the raven concealment with offset tuckable wings, I carry a full size HK USP 45 with one, it disappears and hangs comfortably

I have  both a Crossbreed Super Tuck and an Alien gear holsters for my FNX-9. The Alien Gear does not require any break in where the horse hide Crossbreed requires some break in. I bought the J-Hooks for my Crossbreed which is nice but I also had to my some Velcro loops since my holster was still squeaking with it broken in.

I found a left-handed Milt Sparks VM2 once and carried my 92F in it for awhile. It's the best IWB in my opinion, and made carrying the big Beretta a snap.

don't have to be fat to carry a full size gun. it's not what you carry, but how you carry it.

Crossbreed is my vote.  Yea its a little more money but we are talking about carrying a handgun inside my pants all day, everyday...

By the way my hats off to anyone carrying a gun that wide IWB.

Just started carrying a Sig P226r SCT with 20 round mag in a Galco kingtuc...copy of the crossbreed for around $50 new.  Works wonderfully for me carrying about 3 or 3:30.  I'm 6ft 1in and about 230 lbs, fit but happy belly
