guys with sportier cars how do you carry? when i sit down in my car it likes to dig into the bolster of the seat and i don't want to scratch the leather.
do you take out your gun and stash it inside while driving? I have tried changing the angles of the holster. I carry a commander length 1911 with a crossbreed holster.

I would say try a smaller sized gun than a 1911.

I take mine off and stash it in my console. I also drove a truck where I always had a spare pistol either in the glove box or side panel pocket of the door. If nothing else, there are holsters that are made for cars, where you can put it. Give those a shot.

I sometimes carry crossdraw with a fullsize gun in cooler weather when I'm wearing a jacket, if I'm doing a lot of driving.
Summer months, I'm usually carrying appendix or more towards SOB with a lot of forward cant, neither are as easy to access as crossdraw while sitting in the car.

If it's not on me, it's in the center console.

Well, if he doesn't have a gut he should give it serious consideration.

Yep.

I have a little bit of a gut, and still doesn't bother me.

AIWB in the car is really fantastic.
