On the inside of the receiver?  Can't find it.  



I want to put a pistol buffer tube on it.

It's there, the screw that holds the sling plate is welded on the receiver....pics to help ya out

You can see where I dremeled out the weld to free the sling plate screw

I have an old Dremel Stylus, came with only a few tips.  This is what I found worked best for me...not sure of number is not indicated on my kit.  heres a pic

Thanks.  I just dropped by Lowes and got the tungsten carbide bit.

I hit the internal welded screw for about 3 seconds with the tungsten carbide bit and it popped the weld easy.  Screwed right off.




I put a pistol brace on it.  The red locktite is drying, when done I'll post an i potato pic.

Wow 3 seconds...dang need to get me one if those tungsten carbide.  Took me forever on mine
