Zombie bullets are hornady's v-max with green tips instead of red. Iv got 223 version though haven't seen 308

7.62x39 has a standard bore of .300 and groove diameter of .311. At least that's what they're supposed to have.

There are a lot of VZ2008 owners out there with the GM .308" bore barrel that have put hundreds and even thousands of rounds of Russian .311 bullets down the bore without any complaints. Just shoot it and have fun.

Well my .308 bore VZ is a shooter.....just needs a little windage. Was getting nice touching clusters at 25yds with barnaul FMJ. Beats my AKs by a long shot... May have to try some lead loads in this as well..  |
