Got two PSA vz2008s here..one 2xxx serial with a .308 bore the other a 8xxx serial with a .311 bore.

Any idea if the earlier guns had the tighter bores?

Anyone notice if the 308 was more accurate? I'm going to have to try my cast 125grn zombie bullets in it....

How did you confirm the bore size on both of your century arms vz2008?  Your the only one I know of that actually confirms the vz2008 is .311 bore.  Are you sure?
I had an early vz2008 and I have confirmed it to be .308 bore

When shot both my vz2008 (.308 bore) against my czusa/czechpoint vz58 my vz58 with .311 bore was way more accurate than the vz2008

What's a zombie bullet?

There are a lot of VZ2008 owners out there with the GM .308" bore barrel that have put hundreds and even thousands of rounds of Russian .311 bullets down the bore without any complaints. Just shoot it and have fun.

Work good in 7.5 swiss...so was hoping they work well in the .308 bore.

Any barrel we (GMRB) made for Century, that is for the 7.62x39, has the .311 groove diameter, .300 bore, 4 groove. They have other barrel makers, so that may explain it.

Are your barrels marked in any way?

Well my .308 bore VZ is a shooter.....just needs a little windage.

Was getting nice touching clusters at 25yds with barnaul FMJ.   Beats my AKs by a long shot...

May have to try some lead loads in this as well..
