Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Cerakote or Gunkote for M92?

My M92 is on its way back from having a side folding stock installed, and im trying to decide how to refinish it. I have been going back and forth between having it cerakoted or refinishing it with gunkote. Which of those two would be more durable over time?

Without a doubt the Cerakote is a more durable finish.   You can apply Gunkote yourself but you most likely will have to send it out for the Cerakote.  I had my UZI Cerakoted by Patriot Refinishers and it is holding up really well.  Not a single scratch on it and I have been giving it some hard use.
