What is the best way to get a high-quality SBR Krinkov?  Parts kit?  Arsenal factory long barreled rifle cut down?  Factory Arsenal SBR?

How legit of an AKSU/Krinkov are you looking to have?

The easiest way would be a Yugo PAP pistol, and something like a Manticore Arms triangle folder on a Stormwerks or ACE hinge block.

As legit as I can get it to look externally...

Well, the "Krinkov" is only the Russian/Bulgarian pattern AKS-74u. So in that case I would get an SLR-104UR then chop and crown the barrel after your paperwork comes back.

Bumping for more opinions...should I just get an Arsenal?  Are there other realistic options that are close to the actual firearm?

Not really. There's Russian Tula kits (if you can find one) that you'll pay way more for, plus need to have built. The SLR-104UR is as close as you're going to get.

This.  That Arsenal is S-E-X-Y.  My brother cut his down, and I can't wait to shoot it.

Well, I have one inbound. Any thoughts on who I should send it to to chop the barrel?  No way in hell am I doing it myself.

I bought an SLR-104UR a little while ago and put in my eform 1 on it, racing the 41F sun.

My "fish or cut bait" is trying to decide krink brake or bulgy 4 piece?

I'm happy with the new 107 I just finished.

I got out of the 5.45 cal. awhile back, kinda regret it

Still, this thing is the tits!

Aresnal SLR-104UR

If you think ahead, you can leave a barrel nub and thread it 1/2x28 for some real fun.  The threaded portion and thread protector fit under my booster when shooting unsuppressed.  No concentricity worries either.

How much barrel did you leave? What did you put for your OAL?  I am about for do my EForm 1 and would like to do the same.

Many people use those because they kinda-sorta look something similar, but they are totally different.

It's all personal opinion, but this is one case where "looks sorta like it" is good enough for me. You can do up an m92 or 85 for about $1000, stamp included. Yeah, not a real krink, and I'm fine with it.
