I went with the ace pig nose folding mechanism with a shim kac buffer tube and shockwave stock. I like the setup, I can post pic tomorrow.

Do yourself a favor and pass on the ACE folding mechanism and get the Stormwerkz....I've owned both and will say the Stormwerkz is much better.
Also look at the Shockwave brace instead of the Sig Brace...I own two Sig Braces and they were great when they were the only game in town, but the Shockwave is much less expensive and it's lighter and it's a solid brace. |

thanks! i read other threads on the brace and am going with the shockwave. i appreciate advice on the stormwerkz.
.....one more question......what is the wild bill wedge and is it needed? does the stormworkz level the brace? |

I don't see any SBRs in this thread.
I went with a USMachinegun adapter with my SB47 brace. http://www.usmachinegun.com/proddetail.php?prod=YGO-ARFLD If you don't get an AK-specific brace that fits around the grip & rear of the receiver, you'll need to figure out a way to do that with a different part. I don't think there is an AK-specific kit for the Shockwave. |

Agreed...I just couldn't justify spending $60 on WillBill wedge...I don't care how awesome he is on the AKfiles. Cost was too much for what it does.

The only issues I've heard of were with this push button folder, where the button and locking mechanism are integrated into the hinge. Some people say this was the 1st gen push button made by ACE, but I've seen others say it was made by a company other than ACE. 
I've not heard of any issues with the push button folder that ACE currently sells, with the button and locking mechanism located in the center. 
That handguard is actually one of Magpul's Remington 870 forends, that I custom fitted to the mini Draco, long before they decided to start making AK furniture. |

I opted for the USmachinegun folders for my serbian twins. Lock up tight and I've had zero issues with either of them.
