Don't want to mess this up, so I figured this would be a good place for double checking. I have a M92 PAP that I want to SBR. I'm filling out a form 1, and this is what I have for section 4. 4a - Zastava Arms, Serbia 4b - Short Barrel Rifle 4c - 7.62 4d - PAP M92PV 4e - 10" 4f - 28.9" 4g - pistol's SN 4h - Leave BLANK 4i - Any Lawful purpose. I was mainly concerned with 4A, and 4H. |
|
4a is correct.
4h should be blank. 4h info: http://www.guntrustlawyer.com/form1.html http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=6&f=17&t=336943 |

This guy put his Trust name in 4H: Post here as well: The more and more I'm reading it seems the 4H "requirement" is a farce in regards to putting your trust name in there. |
|
4h shouldn't be blank in this case. The importer's info goes there. 3b is the only place your trust's info should be.
|
|
This thread says to not even include the importer on 4h: |

How long did you have to wait between sending your paperwork and finding out it was disapproved because you were actually, you know, specific on the caliber? |

I had sent a ask the experts email on a form 1 I submitted 3 weeks ago, what I had written and the PDF form were different for the manufacture. Guess they looked at my form and disapproved it, it was only 3 weeks so I'm not real upset about it... to the back I go |

I did a shit ton of google searching on this issue and pretty much found that BOTH ways have worked for people in the past. I found more people that successfully did it this way though:
3b. trust name/address 4a: Zastava, Serbia 4h: C.A.I., Georgia, VT |

Any updates on this OP?? Want to do the same to my M92.. Did it get accepted OK with just the 7.62 on it thus far (been long enough to be accepted I would think)?? For the overall is that with a folding mechanism as folded, or is that the overall with a collapsible opened up (or a folder open)?? |

View Quote Under Federal law OAL is measured with the stock fully extended. There is at least one state that measures OAL with the stock folded/collapsed, but in the case of filling out a Form 1 that doesn't really matter. |

Mailed my paper form 1 at the end of May (May 26ish) and was approved September 6. I put 7.62x39mm in block 4c. I guess your results depend on your examiner.
