I'm digging into that as well just out of interest, two options I've seen, #1:
Mako Group Quad Rail System Option #2, which isn't really a quad rail, but is the VEPR-12's original railed lower handguard, it's plastic and so are the rails, and the upper is just synthetic, I think you can find them on Legion USA's website still |

Looks nice. Is the rail right and secure? Do you expect the optic to be able to hold zero?

I want rails just for the look...
What I REALLY want is an affordable railed top cover mount...I'm not a fan of the "scout" option Im still torn over what to get. I also have a milled AK that I want the top cover for. ~WTS |

Looks nice. Is the rail right and secure? Do you expect the optic to be able to hold zero?
Extremely tight fit! So much so that I had to do a bit of filing to get the handguard hardware to lock properly. The lower handguard also has a slot that locks it in the front of the lower receiver. Nothing clamps to the barrel or gas tube like the MI rails. I wasn't happy about the price, but now appreciate the quality.
