Very, very nice. I like your continued usage of the ADM clamp. Just out of curiosity, do you have a weight on that mount?

I like it. I kind of wish you had gone with one large cutout instead of the holes though. I know that's just cosmetic.

Finally!!!...Order placed!

The holes match the size and look our hand guard. A single large hole would not look good at all. I will get you guys a weight in the morning .

Sure I understand I just gave you my opinion in return everyone has preferences on features, looks and so on. we do our best but we will never hit them all with everyone.

Does the lever mechanism require periodic tightening/bending? Most other sidemounts I've had tend to loosen up as you use them.

Sorry if this has been asked before...
Will this allow a co-witness with the Vortex Strikefire? I'm torn between this and the micro dot mount. |

Is it adjustable for the various different AK receiver specs, so that the optic can be centered over the irons with various AKs?
Can it co-witness with Aimpoint M2s and M3s? Can the receiver cover be removed with the mount and optic in place? I'm liking this a lot... |

The full size dots we have tried you will be able to see your sights in the very bottom this would include the two you mentioned. The mount is not adjustable for center line. I am able to take the cover off on the rifles i have tried although with it being a Q.D I think that is something you wont have to worry about.

Thanks TROY MI The multiple holes look just fine. I couldn't imagine a big, single gaping hole in the center of that mount. It would probably put added stress on its overall strength too. I am just about to get into the AK game and have been posting AK newb questions on here for days. I have kept saying how I don't want to mount an optic on my AK because I have only seen pictures of them mounted forward on railed handguards, which I am not a fan of. But after seeing this mount...... I just wish I was well into the AK game before I saw this. I still have to fund my first AK rifle and then I don't have any spare optics so there's another few hundred plus the mount. Damn the poor economy! I do hope to have possession of one of these in the near future...... This looks great from the standpoint of a guy who hates tacticool AK's |

very nice I will be getting a couple of these

Just put in my order...hope it is all that it appears to be.

Thanks Troy...love your products so I am sure it will be all I expect it to be.
|

|
Got my mount in yesterday...WOW nice product. Fits nice, seems to be rock solid "stuck" to the mount (after I adjusted the ADM thing) and is directly over the center line of my Romy. Thanks for making such a good product. And for shipping it so fast!
Only thing that seemed odd was that there was a pretty big gap on the optic "saddle' when I mounted my Strikefire on it. |
|
|
so is mount centered over the reciever of off to the left?

I have tried it on ak pattern rifles and it is very close to centered on all. That's how we came up with our dimension. Thanks. Troy. Mi.

I have this on a waffen works ak-74, and it does not lock up tight. If I turn the screw one half turn it is too tight, if I go the other way, it is too loose. It is barely on, and just a tiny bit snug, is this how it should be on? I was expecting a very tight fit.
|
|
|
It should be very tight. if you would like call the shop we can get you out another mount if it still doesn't work its your rail on your gun. We have found like all AK stuff these do vary by a good amount.

I have one for my Saiga 7.62 AK conversion. It mounts very well and solid. Only issue is I have a Burris XTS-135 and I have to remove the front sight cover to use it...it's to thick to fit without forcebly touching the rifle's dust cover and causing the sight to be off and slightly angled. Not sure whether the side bracket on my rifle is to low, or the mount is a lil to low, or the sight cover is to thick. But I do love the mount. Any thoughts? I can live with it, but It would be nice to use that sight cover...might have to shave it a lil. Hmmm...

|
|
Send me a picture. Can you trim the cap? Thanks. Troy.

Love the mount anyways. Thanks. |
