Why should I spend more on this over the RAS 47 from Century?  Here's what I already know, if those of you in the know have something to add, or want to expound on a point listed, please share.

Better fit and finish
Nickel plating for corrosion resistance
Standardized AKM, parts availability
Has cleaning rod
Purty

What else is there?  Do I have to watch out for bad rivets, like with old WASRs?  How is the mag well and magazine lock up?  Does it cycle smoothly?  Does it have a bayo lug?  Does it have the cleaning kit compartment in the stock?  Any anecdotes to share?  Direct comparisons?

I saw that one, and another one even.  I just wanted some more info about the differences besides fit and finish.  I'm not very AK savvy, and there are so many different types.  Back when I was thinking about getting one, there were so many things to watch out for, especially with Century builds, that it just turned me off from trying.  I was checking for my brother, this will be his first rifle, and this is the one he selected.  He bought it yesterday from Atlantic based on the praise they got in the thread you linked.  I'm sure he'll be happy with it, I just didn't want to see him spend the extra money if it's not much better than a Century rifle.  I'll see if he'll let me post some pictures when he gets it.  Thanks.
