Do the Century milled 1960s have hammer forged barrles? I read that they have US made barrels correct? I was wondering because I really like the beefier barrels on an AK.

No. The barrel is button rifled 4140 steel pipe made by Green Mountain Barrels. I have owned one since 2009, and for the first two years, I shot the hell out of it. Now I shoot about twice a year which equates to about 200 rounds. It's still accurate and reliable. I'm more into my ARs now.

I'm still into AK's and I enjoy my Century M1960. Runs just as well as My Arsenal SLR101s

For $650.00 It's a very impressive Weapon.

yes the barrels are us made. but I wouldn't let that scare you away from getting one. the CAI polish 1960 was my first ak and its been a great gun and is plenty accurate.
