I bought an Arsenal USA AMD-63-2UF I think in early 2000. Would like to know how to find out if I can tell when it was built and
a fair price if I sell it private vs. trading it at a gun dealer.
It is brand new in the box. It's a very solid built rifle. It's been in the back of my safe since I bought it.
Thank you for any help.
Very much appreciated.
Jeff

From what I understand - these rifles were a limited run they did with select stock kits in the early 2000's...  I would contact K-Var or Arsenal, Inc. about this rifle to get more info on it..  I have no knowledge of their worth as I haven't seen one sell here or on GB..  May be worth some coin to the right buyer..

Thanks mcwizz. I really appreciate the info. I'll try those companies to get started on my quest.
I found very little about this rifle when I Googled.

Jeff, when you say Arsenal USA are you speaking of the company that used to be in Houston?  Also, is this a milled receiver rifle?  Some pics would also help.

Arsenal USA was out of Houston,TX. Not to be confused with the current Arsenal out of Nevada.

2 different companies.

It's from Arsenal USA that was in Houston TX.
Arsenal USA is stamped on bottom of receiver.
It has a stamped receiver. It might be a thicker
receiver because this thing feels "beefy".
The manual it came with shows 3 different rifles
on the cover and says I have purchased one of the following...
SSR-85B, SSR-85C, SSR-56 but, mine is an underfolder. (not on the cover).
Probably a generic manual. They all say they used FEG receivers
and it could be a parts set from Poland or Bulgaria.
It also says barrel assembly may be PolyTEC.
I just want to know what I have, when built and fair value.
I emailed Arsenal Inc. for info. They replied
to ask for the serial number but haven't got
back to me yet.
I've also seen very similar stamps on the bottom
of receivers  "Armory USA" ??????
I also remember somewhere they had to turn off the original 14mm lh theads to get them past the border and changed them to 1/2-28 right hand, same as the AR-15.
Mine has the LH14mm threads if that helps at all.
I'll try to get pics posted when my camera is fully charged.

OK Photobucket isn't working for me.

Any other ideas how to get pics posted here?

I posted some assumptions that I made about your rifle that may be wrong, so I have edited my post.  I was thinking that the model number having the UF in it meant it was an under folder.  That was a stupid assumption on my part.  IM me and will help you post some pics if you would like.

It is an underfolder.
Thank you very much for your info. I bought it at a gun show in
Mesquite TX, where they have the rodeos. I moved from TX in 2002.
So, it was purchased a while back before I moved. I only had $500 cash
with me and I had to go to a nearby ATM in Garland to get $45 to get the rifle.
The underfolder rifles were selling fast and I made a "mad" dash to my bank.
I came back to the gun show and after an ATF approval went home with a beautiful
rifle.
Thank you very much for your time and info. However, it was purchased at least before 2002.
I'm still waiting on Arsenal Inc. for any build info by serial number.
Thank you again
Jeff

See if this works for pics...
