I'm new to the galil world and I'm trying to figure my best option of obtaining one. I do not have the money to buy a real galil. So my two options are the golani sporter and having one built. So my first question is if the golani sporter can be sent to tenngalil for him to fix some of the problems they are know known for and how much it would cost? My second question is how much would it run me total to gather parts for a build and have it built by tenngalil? Like I said I'm very new to the galil world and any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I am interested in your questions too.  I just picked up a Golani yesterday in trade.  Mine is the GLN receiver and the seller claimed to not have any issues, other than the weight compared to an AR.  I'm not in it for a ton, but bought with the idea that it may just be a parts kit when all is said and done.

parts kits aren't everywhere anymore unfortunately, and they seem to command a premium. I have heard that some kits are "on there way" through the grapevine though. I don't know if that's true, condition, or how many.

IF you buy a Century, check it over and shoot it before you send it out. You may get lucky.

All else fails I'd buy a CNC receiver and rebuild it.

The kits are already here.  APEX has had them for a couple of weeks for $350 with a barrel.  I am now going to get a CNC Warrior receiver for it.
