I recently picked up an 8mm M76 on the cheap. The previous owner didn't maintain this rifle and the barrel and chamber is full of rust. If I can't salvage the barrel, can you recommend someone who does good work to get a new barrel installed? Thanks

Mario at POHF.

He probably knows M76s better than anybody.  His previous M76 builds that I have seen are the best I have seen anywhere.

+ 1 for Mario.  He corrected problems on my M76 build that the builder and another guy were unable to address including repining my barrel.  He'll take a while but it will be done right.

M76s  are not discussed on forums much any more.  I'm going shooting tomorrow and ive been preoccupied wi my 54r rifles this year.  Thanks for reminding me.  I've got a bunch of M75 ammo (which you ought to get NOW unless you reload) and mine's been a safe queen the last couple years.

Hey "Metal" aren't you a Moderator yet?  You are ALWAYS first to offer advice on Yugo topics.
