A while back I sold my last AK. I had a Yugo npap at one point and installed an Ace skeleton stock with folder. I remember that it cost a fortune once I got the stock, folder, and receiver block.

I just bought another yugo, this time an opap. I have 2 questions: first is there a cheaper way to go as far as a folding stock goes that will provide a good cheek rest? Doesnt have to be the Ace Stock. Second, are there any differences between the opap and npap that I need to be aware of as far as modifications are concerned?

Magpul's Yugo Zhukov folder should be cheaper than the ACE parts.

What ^^^he said. No differences to speak of when it comes to modifications or accessories.
