Finally my new m77 shipped should be here tomorrow. Already have a tabuk flash hider. M14 20 rders ready to modify. Trying to decide on a stock choice. Been toying with the idea of making my own wood stock that resembles the M91 wooden stock. What do you guys think? My choices are making one or going the skeleton stock route with the Krebs adaptor.

Be original and make your own stock.  Post pics if you do.

Post some pics up when you get it. Where did ya order it from if you don't mind me asking? I'm on the fence about getting one

NICE!

That would be sick if you made a dragunov style stock for it, just my opinion, however you can't go wrong with the original style buttstock

Very nice.   The brake make such a difference in how it looks.   What kind is that?

Hey it is with one of the 2 m14 mags I modified. They fit nice and seem to let bolt function smoothly.

What scope are you using?

It is just a cheap center point I had laying around. I will see how it holds up.

Will these accept standard AK stocks? A dragunov stock would be pretty slick on that rifle.

Same retention system as any other Yugo/Serb rifle, plus you have the slant to consider.

I got this one last year during the Christmas sales at JG.
Hideous as they arrive but a fun project to fix up.

You'd be surprised how much some of us paid for our AR-10s.  Some of us have been doing this longer than others.  Armalite's '07 Thanksgiving sale was one for the record books, I'm still giving thanks for that one.

What did you use to add the white detail to the lettering on the receiver?  That looks awesome!

Nice, keep us updated.  My son would have been happy if I'd went that route, but last weekend I tig welded a repair into the slant cut receiver and put the original stock back on.  I did make my own muzzle brake.

OK wood work is 90 percent complete. Still have to drill hole for bolt and install buttpad finish sand and stain/ seal.
