]There are very few pics of the M21 in action, and even fewer of the M21 and M70 on the range being used by US, TCN's, and LN's at the same time.  Enjoy:

(Myself getting to know the M21 for Zero)

(M21 w/Primary Arms red dot)

(Transition drills, far left SW99, right HK USP .45 tactical)

(M21 familiarization fire)

(M21 misfeed...only one of the rifles...either a mag issue, or tight chamber.  Ammo was AE 55gr ball, and LC SS109 62gr penetrator)

(M70 familiarization with the boys)

(M70 LN Qualification)

(M70 three round burst drills)

(M21 kneeling shooting competition)

Very cool, thank you for the pics and your service!

Quick question, how come these M70's have no gas cut-off feature?
Was it removed on export models or something like that?

Do you have any fears that some of the indigenous personnel might turn on you as is happening with the NATO troops?

Not sure on the gas cut off valve, I've had two different types of the M70's, the B's, and the AB2's, neither had a gas cut off vavle.  These folders have polygonal barrels, which are so much easier to clean than the standard cut rifled barrels.

Well I've been over here for 8.5yrs now.  There is always that issue to be concerned about.   I guess the key is to know your employees well, to put in place all of the precautions you can, and extensive screening.   There is no 100% solution, you work with what you have, and be very aware.

I have seen reference (and pics) of special export-only (not for Yugo/Serbian use) versions of the M70 that lacked the grenade sight.  Could very well be the case here.

Were these pictures taken in Afghanistan? The only reason I ask is I saw a Tapco mag in one of the M70s. Why would that be over there?

Kandahar.   The war has been going on for close to 12yrs now.  Anything and everything that has to do with a bullet being launched out of a barrel  is over here.

Thanks for the updates - the mag behind the tapco, please - what is it?

We only have 3 types, standard steel AK Zastava mags, Tapco, and Promags.  Promags are much much better than the Tapco's, as the Tapco's have very inconsistent function.   Rarely do we have any issues with the Promags.
