Hey Guys & Gals, I need your help again please. Does this gun seem legit to you all? It has all matching numbers except for the bottom plate. What would you all say you would expect to pay for this gun PLUS it comes with 460 new rds of Silver Bear brand ammo? I think it is 124gr HP.  The man is asking $450.00 for it all. Is that a good deal or not? I haven't priced a SKS in 30 years so I have no idea. lol Thanks again for any guidance you can give me. Later & Have a great night, Mark

It looks like a couple of Russian ones I had about 10 years ago.  I was told the bolts were colored black when the arsenal did a rebuild on them before shipping them out.  I don't know how factual that is, and don't have a link to it, but that's what I remember being told.

Depending on when he bought the ammo, you are looking at between 100-125 in ammo value, which realistically brings the rifle down from 450 to about 350-325.  That's in line with a lot of the SKS's I saw at the local gun show last weekend, so if the end of the barrel isn't frosted, or is counterbored, and you want it, it's not a deal breaker.  

Although since I only ever paid 100 bucks or less for any of mine and haven't bought any since they got stupid expensive, I probably wouldn't go for it.
