Here is an updated picture of mine. I didn't really like the CAA Ergo grip, so I changed it out for a Tapco SAW-style PG. It fits my hand much better. I've also added a BP-02 mount and NC Star Red Dot optic.

Pardon my ignorance, but what kind of buttstock is that? I really like the look of it and am considering one for my future saiga build.

Thanks! It's a non-folding, polymer Krink style stock made by FSE. I just used one on my .223 conversion too. I have the real deal Russian folder in the works on my 7.62 though.

Here is one of mine, 1971 Russian PLO kit built on a NDS3, Z-recto wood. 30 rd mag reduced to 10 for Calif and locked in place





The next project once I can get a receiver





and an extra set of wood

MY new VEPR I have added on a ULTIMAK RAIL, MOJO peepsight, XS 24/7 front sight post, Tactical Link Sling mount and a ACE Folding stock, Magpull MIAD pistol grip and Magpull Commercial CTR Stock, Gladius mounted with a Daniel Defense offset light mount and a GG&G offset pitcanny mount.

I recently joined the Russian AK club by finishing my Saiga conversion. Here's a picture of the final product:


The only think left to do is to thread the barrel for a DNTC compensator.
