Well I got my VEPR converted and now come's the furniture. I would like to run magpul furniture (MOE Stock + Zhukov hand guard) if possible.

I know I will need a stock adapter for the stock but what for the handgaurd? If it isn't possible to run the Zhukov on it what would you guys recommend?

I'm trying to lighten my VEPR to be as light as possible as well.

I have a 7.62x39mm VEPR BTW

Thanks

What magazine is that?  Is it durable?  Steel feed lips?

Circle 10 mags / GEN2 with steel reinforcements / 20 shot.
Weiger mags are all steel and with minor mods fit the 5.56 VEPR quite well. They are the most robust steel 5.56 mag ever made IMHO.

That rail looks familiar :) ....  I decided I wanted to run a ultimak and Beryl hand guard instead on my 7.62×39.   Loving it so far.

I went back and forth about putting wood on it or a rail, now I'm glad I seen your ad. Any reason you choose the Ultimak over an RS Regulate mount?

Simplicity when running a micro red dot along with better peripheral vision.  I have another Vepr in 308 so having a spare side mount allows be to swap between optics quickly on that rifle.  The truth is I would have never bought the full length RS regulate mount and top rail for a red dot, I was planning on putting a 1-6x ACSS  scope on it but then I got gun ADD and spent a bunch of money on a AR build instead lol.

Another Question, like I said before I want to run Magpul furniture on my VEPR, I was reading that the MOE AK Stock won't fit on a vepr even with a Adapter?

Is this true?

You can get it to fit.  I actually bought my vepr with the AK moe stock fitted with a angle adapter.  There is definitely some Drexel work involved from the looks of it.   I'll never use the thing again, PM if your interested, I'd let it go pretty cheap.

JKH62's rifle motivated me to get around to doing somthing the the front end of my 308.  Been wanting to get a bipod on this one for a while and some russian red wood accent as well.

Picking up my VEPR 308 tomorrow

First thing I need to do will be to replace the stock and grip (left handed shooter).  What adapters for the slant VEPR's to you guys prefer?

Canis hands down if you want a AR style stock.  You will have to wait a couple months to get it but its worth the wait.

I like the zhukov, but it's the heaviest ak handguard I have.  I'm tempted to get another, but they aren't lightweights.

They feel great in the hand though.
