I was interested in buying a few CSS 10 rnd mags, but their website shows their 10 rnd mag has a manufacturing defect with a forming "crack" at the upper follower stop that they did not detect until late in the production. They claim the price reflects such defect but the 10 rounder is $5 cheaper than the 15 rnd and 15 rnd is $5 cheaper than the 20 rnd. I don't see how they reduce the price on 10 rnd for this defect! If they have a known defect, they should scrap the defective ones or significantly reduce the price. They don't do that and try to sell them at regular price. I don't appreciate this practice. They are not better than the Progmag guys in my opinion. If Progmag mags can be modified to work, I would rather take a chance on Promag. Wish Promag has 10 rounders.
Edited Sep 22: I sent an email to ProMag Tech Support to ask the difference between their 308 Galil mag and Vepr mag, got a reply next day and was told that they are exactly the same, the only difference is packaging!
