Buddy of mine wants to trade me a gun. Says it's a Romanian rpk in 7.62x54, but looks like a Dragunov. Is it a psl?

FPK, not an RPK. Same as a PSL, just a different model name. Might have a different length barrel.

RPK style would have the RPK machine gun oar shaped stock on a square back receiver.   FPK would be a PSL, same barrel length
