Anyone own one of these? Are they any good? I am going to look at one locally for $530.

Are they worth the money?

What do I need to look for when inspecting it?

The only thing I can tell you about the one I hunted with for a season is the amount of trigger slap was an issue...and the reason it was sent down the road.

They're not really good for anything unless you want to make a Galil clone.  GARY

Yes, they're good rifles.  They're basically Finnish Valmet clones for civilian use.  If you choose to convert one, it can be a chore but you won't necessarily be hurting it's value since they're not in the collectible arena, *yet*.

If you're in possession of one, be confident it's an entirely respectable rifle plainly as it sits.
