Hey guys,

I have a Type 56-2 sidefolder parts kit that I want to have built, but I already have a stamped 56-2.  So I'm thinking of having a milled Chinese underfolder built from the parts, but that means not using the sidefolder stock which would be a shame.

Two questions:
1. How do I tell a Chinese underfolder stock from the European ones?  Smooth un-dimpled legs?  Not sure if I have one.

2. I also have a repro Polytech folding spiker/FSB that I want to use.  Have any Type 56 sidefolders ever come with a folding spiker?  Has a milled underfolder ever come with a spiker?
