Stamped receiver, no Norinco markings on left side of the receiver other than a serial number on the trunion. Model marking is 56S directly above trigger on the dust cover line. There is an optics plate below the 56S which is riveted, there could be additional markings under the plate but I obviously can't see them. Serials on trunion, dust cover, gas tube, and bolt carrier match. Fully enclosed front sight, bayonet lug for click on bayo, 800 yard adjustable sights, vented gas tube.

Look on the barrel sides between the gas block and the front sight. There you should see the importers mark on either side. You have a Chinese Type 56S rifle.

Negative my friend. I think its a very early Sile with the markings on the receiver under the optics plate. I base that off of this thread I found.

Serial number follows the same format, there is just nothing on the trunion save for the serial.
