Nevermind. Minwax red mahogany is nearly identical. Almost a plumb color.

If you do any staining to replicate the original would you mind posting pictures? I'm just curious to see how well it will match up. Might even want to hit you up for some tips and tricks.

I will be. I will keep you posted on the progress. I just stripped most of the old finish today but alot is still remaining.

I don't think it stain, more like paint. I've seen many Legend's with what look like chips in the finish.

Dark colored shellac. Not very strong, but it is a perfect match.
