So I'm wanting to SBR my FEG AMD 65 and am not sure about what to put as the model on the Form 1. My gut says to put AMD 65, but the receiver is marked SA 2000M. What do you put on your approved Form 1? I want to make sure I do it right the first time. Thanks in advance!

P.S. Feel free to post a pic of your AMD-65 SBR for inspiration!

My form 1 says AMD65. But it was a custom build.

I think you will have to put : SA2000M as the model.  Mine was a build on a NoDak receiver, so my model was NDS-65.  Unless you are bending blanks and make your own model #'s, you have to use what's on the original receiver.  Good luck.

Honestly, save your money. I have a Vector built AMD and a WellCo Built AMD SBR. the difference in length is less than an inch. No real advantage given. Paid about $300 more for the SBR, and adding the cost of the stamp was out $500 for about a half inch shorter barrel.
Cool rifle, not really worth the money and hassle of the stamp. Just sayin.

I like your style. I have a stamp pending on an amd that I plan to build from a flat.  I'm going to use a triangle folding stock though.

I used a KBI receiver for my build and used SA85M, it was approved in 2008 with no issues.
