I built my rifle from a "plum" stock Bulgarian that was brand new when de-milled.  I believe it has a date from 1982 or 1983.  What color and type of sling would be "correct" for this rifle as used in service.  I assume cotton/canvas web with one hook and steel buckle.  Leather keeper?  Black-finished metal work?  OD green, grey, black or mustard webbing?  Now...where do I get one?  I see KVAR has some of these options.  Is there a better (cheaper) place to buy one?  Thanks!

The Bulgarian slings I saw were OD Green with black painted metal on the hook end, and a brown leather keeper.

Most of K-Var's are Bulgarian issue.

I got one years and years ago from K-var that is kind of a cross between a mustard yellow and a snot green.  Thinner, softer material than the Russian slings you typically encounter, but the same hardware.
