I'd like to have my Saiga IZ132 Sporter converted to a traditional wood AK47. I'm new to the AK platform, and am trying to brush up on everything AK, so please forgive my lack of knowledge. I'd like to have the holes welded, parkerized/coated, pressed gas block (not bolt-on), etc., the works. I know this work will cost some coin, and I could "just by an Arsenal", but I'm set on having my Saiga converted. Does anyone have a recommendation of who I could use to perform this work?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

This is what I want it to look like, but with red furniture.

I have a tutorial on how to do this at home with basic handtools and a drill press if you wanted to try and tackle it yourself. You'd still have to have the holes welded up. Matt Yaeamns aka turbothis does great work and is priced well too, but does not refinish rifles.

Being it says you're in AZ, I'm assuming you're likely in the phx area. I have no personal experience with this service, but some guys I know recommend Kilo Guns
