I have an Arsenal SLR107FR with an MI QD side rail attached.  I want to add a 1-4X scope to my rifle that will have a 30mm diameter tube.   What height ring should I go with to give me the proper scope height?   I am thinking it should be low rings.   Thoughts?

Stack coins (quarters, nickels, dimes, your choice) on the rail.  Set scope on coins and adjust coin height until you have the scope at the desired height (generally as low as possible on an AK).  The coin stacks take the place of the rings, so you will need two stacks.  Measure the height of coin stack, order ring height accordingly.
