I'm looking at mounting a 1" commercial scope on an AK for night hunting. I've got a WASR that has the rail thing on the side. What is a decent solid mount that would have 1" rings or picatinny rail on top. Trying to avoid shit from tiawan.

UTG pro side rail or MI seems what your looking for.

Good luck finding one that won't be off-center, not going to happen. The MI piece I tried was no better than the UTG, only difference was the MI piece cost 3 times what the UTG did. The poster above me mentioned RS regulate, and truthfully it's going to be closer to 200 for the complete set-up you need, but it's the only one that comes close as it is adjustable. |

Arsenal SM-13 is $140ish. You'll still need rings, BUT, cheaper than RS Regulate. You'll be able to get the exact height you want.
