when you say pin, do you mean to make it an adjustable gas block?

I had heard those stories as well. Would a spot weld on the front also do the trick? The ability to pin it in place sounds great. It's a 16" barrel.......I am sending it out to have the barrel cut/pinned....the muzzle device is like 1.8"

I always wanted one but they are expensive and I didn't have the right tools to remove the old hardware. When the M10 came out I sold my WASR and about broke even picking up the M10.
