I want to attach this custom light to an AK, but don't want a rail system, whats the best way to do it without a ton of rails?

Not in stock here, but the RS BM-1 is a great mount that is lightweight and compact.

+1 for the RS BM-1

Great products from RS, very high quality, low weight and low fuss!

Or a .308 Saiga.  I want one bad for a light, but it won't even come close to fitting my Saiga's barrel OD.

Umm, they don't respond to email, they don't answer the phone and you can't order cuz PP has froze the account associated with the store.

I'll give Dennis a call later, and see what's been going on. Doesn't sound right. I talked to a friend of mine, and I know two more batches of mounts (Both sizes) were completed a few months back and are available.

Here's the scoop. A new website is coming within the next couple of days, the mounts are in stock, and the price will be $50.00

Good to know. They need to do something to get back in good graces with the community. Lot of frustrated people wrote them off.

LH20 on my O-PAP.

Fits perfectly around the barrel.  The longer Yugo HG means that you'll have to remove the LH20 before you can remove the lower HG.

Looks great!

The new site *should* be up tomorrow.

Another vote the the rs regulate bm1. Great lightweight mount. Only downside to them is they are a little pricey.

What's the barrel outer diameter on those rifles?

My .308 Saiga is .727" between the lower handguard retainer and the gas block.  Considerably beyond the .59" spec of the BM-1.

Been toying with the idea of buying a BM-12 (.86") and seeing if I could fab a 2 piece sleeve to make up the difference.  Worst case, I could throw the BM-12 on one of my Vepr 12s if it didn't work out on the Saiga.

IIRC the Yugo specs at .688". I will need another mount at some point since I have a second Yugo.

Thanks for the numbers.  I'll pass those along to the powers that be and see if we can get this gap filled.

I posted on their FB. Didn't seem to get any traction.

DBMG still doesn't have the store back up.
