Im sure there are multiple threads but it seems availability and preference change often. Getting back into the AK game after a long hiatus and need mags, just quickly want your top 3 picks in order of preference for SHTF AK mags. Basically, which ones do you use when your life is on the line. TIA

Looks like J and G have some @ 15.00, any other sources that you know of?

What should I expect to pay for the Circle 10 on the secondary market?

My go-to stash consists of Yugos. My day-to-day is mostly polymer.

Copes has Yugos for $11.99 right now, which is a great price.

Go to SGammo under their mag section

Will give you a general idea of current pricing.

I've got mostly East German ribbed back and Chinese flat backs.  I would definitely go with the Chinese x3.

From personal experience, steel EG, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Chinese and Soviet phenolics (I dont call them bakelites, cuz they ain't) have all been good to go... My SHTF stash is EG and Hungarian steel 30's...

Also keep a Soviet 75 round drum on hand just for giggles.
