I purchased a saiga with the intention of keeping it original. Got the bug, and converted it. Now I have about 25 mags and no gun.
Tried to sell, no takers.
Has anyone tried to adapt these mags for their ak47? I tried one about 5 years ago with out success.

Are your mags actual Saiga mags or US mags? If the are real Saiga/Izhmash mags, you should have NO problem selling them. If they are US made, they are converted easily! Just remove the built in bullet guide on the front of the mag. Take a regular AK mag and compare the area right above the front locking lug, it's very easy to see where and how much material to remove.
