Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Cut down AK74 Mags to 20 rds?

Hey guys, I want to cut down a couple of mags to keep in my Krink whenever it gets finished. I've read some of the reviews and writeups on how to do it but the only good writeup I've found is with a Tapco mag.  

Does anyone have a measurement of where I need to cut the magazine and an easy way to attach the floorplate?

If you get a tantal mag, you should be able to bend new tabs for the floorplate.

I do have two metal mags...That may be easier. In the poly mags (Bulgy ((10)) or ((21))) does the metal liner extend throughout the magazine? I may be able to sand down the exterior and expose that metal and bend it outwards.
