centerfire systems has 30rnd AK mags for $6.99 when you buy at least 3

What is the story on these? Are they junk?

I was thinking about buying 10 of these.

I wouldn't buy them.  Their price keeps going down because they have a bad reputation.  If you want to get a few Korean just to get first hand experience then go ahead, but don't buy many of them.  For a few bucks more APEX has genuine military surplus, 10 for $90.  SG Ammo has Chinese flatbacks and Yugo BHO, too many good mags available right now to put up  poor quality.

With so many other better options out there, I would go a different route if I were you.

I wouldn't buy them. Have had a few jams with the ones I had and gave them away.

In case you havent figured out from the posts above, the Korean mags are garbage.

I've used them without trouble.  Took them apart, compared dimensions of components with supposed good mags.  Maybe its folks' rifles that are less tolerant.

Classic Firearms has Romanian steel mags for 11.99 and they also have Romanian drums for 69.99.

I have a few that I got real cheap <$5 each. Haven't had any probles yet. Okay for range mags but if you can get Com Block steel for $10-$15 each, I don't see a reason to buy the Korean mags.  Keep an eye on the EE for mags.

I would give them a try.   I have mags that work great in one AK and jam in another.

Even if you never trust them you could always use them for range mags.

I have two Korean mags but they only hold 28 rounds. Seem to feed good though so I just use them for range mags only.
